ALERT LEVEL 4
With Alert Level 4 now in place, all Chatsford residents must remain in their home other than for essentials, such as groceries and medical supplies.
Residents are allowed to go for a walk, but they can only be accompanied by someone from the home in which they are living.
If you live alone, you CAN have meet up with with ONE person outside of your home. You must limit your contact to that one person, and you must still observe the physical distancing guidelines. Also, the person you contact cannot socialise with any other people, and they must not be someone with compromised immunity. This is effectively a one-to-one buddy system.
REMEMBER: Regular and thorough hand-washing is your best defense against the COVID-19 virus.
VOLUNTEER HELP FOR CHATSFORD RESIDENTS
Chatsford will be doing all we can to assist our residents who are now quarantined in their home.
But with 330 residents, we will need some help from younger family members, friends and volunteers.
If you are able to help in some way, there is a form on the covid19.govt.nz website that you can use to provide your details and how you can help. There is a link to this form here:
Please fill out the form and scan it back to email@example.com.
If you are unable to scan, you can just email us your name, address, phone number, and how you might be able to help.
